Now imagine the number of children who are being abused, neglected, and harmed in homes that were designed to protect them but have failed. The ones that go un-noticed or are never reported. If you know you have a problem, if you are harming your child/ren PLEASE get help! Recognize the abuse, send the kid/s to grandma or the sweet old lady who offers to watch them and GET HELP! No child deserves to be harmed in any way! The most purest and innocent gift we are blessed with in this universe, are these children. There are so many children in foster care at this very moment, if you have felt it on your heart to adopt please adopt from foster care! If there has been a sweet little whisper in your mind to foster care, if you have a safe home and can offer love to a child who has had their world destroyed by drugs, alcohol, anger and abuse. Please consider becoming a foster parent and no matter if its days, weeks or years. Show that child all the love that you have and freely. These kids need YOU! This portrayal of child abuse breaks my heart. The one thing designed to protect this child is what is causing the pain though she still grips tightly to it. Children who are abused often forgive over and over, willing to love hoping to be loved back. Can you be the umbrella that these children need?
